The Iver Snare Drum has a 3mm thick stainless steel shell of our own design featuring round over edges, wide beds and 8-lugs.
This snare is designed to be a true workhorse. Being stainless steel and crafted with care to tight tolerances, it has beautiful overtones that really add to the sound of the drum. These are obviously easily controlled with any kind of dampening resulting in a drum that can be ‘Live’ and ring or controlled and dead sounding.
The thick 3mm shell gives the drum stability so it can be tuned up high without choking or tuned low and fat.
This snare was designed to be a versatile tool for the serious drummer.
